I've looked for dandi seeds over here. Couldn't seem to find any. Thought about just digging some up and re planting them during winter.

The weather has FINALLY started to change here in Aberdeenshire. And as I have been cultivating the dandilions in my garden, Slash has his own slice of nirvana now! Plus the bonus of free food and natural sunlight means less expense for me. Winning

Or do what I did....bring them home when the other half is out, and she had no option BUT to let me keep them! They were only 3-4 inches when I got them, and she didn't know they would reach 2 feet long....as Tom says though, they are 50% tail....

Hi. Just to give you some frame of reference, this is Batman. He is 25 inches. He lives is a 4x3 Viv. His buddy Robin is the same, but slightly slimmer and he lives in the top one which is 4x2 feet.

Yeah it really hasn't been the best weather here so far. Been around 10 Celcius so very cold for them to be out. Or so I thought. He's had a night in a cosy Viv and some fresh water....just hope he survives once he's back where I found him.

So it turns out he is protected. I'm heading back to where I found him today and will send him on his way. Ach well. Thought I was saving the little guy...ill make sure he gets back to safety. He's at least had a nice warm night in my house. Like a holiday! Thanks for the responses.

I genuinely didn't know that lizards were native to this country! I'll have a look at legalities and if not I will release it. I just hate the thought of it becoming food for a crow or seagull.
