Purchased this tort about 2wks ago from Tom Crutchfield down in Homestead, Fl about an 8hr round trip drive.
I was curious if anyone knows what changes occur with shell pattern during the tort maturing from juvenile to adult. I was told my tort is about 3 yrs old and he's almost 5" . Should i expect more, less, or no change in yellow radiating pattern? I also plan to get a few more torts in the near...

Is st. augustine grass ok for my torts to graze on? I have read where people let their torts graze on bermuda but i have not seen anything about st augustine. I assume its ok but i just want to be sure also are some lawn grasses better than others?
