Your set up looks great. I think the tiny pots are a good idea, I have had luck with planting the grazing tort mix from Carolina pet supply in pots inside Ichs enclosure.
Ich is from Captain Nemo's aquarium superstore in PA. The guy who sold him to me had 4 sullys himself and said that they came from a local breeder. I would love to check out a reptile expo for my next tort.
Hi, I'm Bethany
I am a social worker at a community behavioral health center. I work with children that have behavioral and emotional disorders. I am finishing up my graduate degree and will be done in May. (Yay!)
@TashaR- Sounds like we work with a similar population
Before that I taught high...
Wow, it is amazing to me the size difference between Livingstone and Ichabod, with them both being around the same age (Ich is 1.25 years). It must be the Mazuri, I wish I could get Ich to take more of an interest in it, even though I am glad that Ich is growing slow.
Livingstone looks awesome, she is so smooth. How old is she now? Are those the zoomed lamp stands in her enclosure? I would like to get ones like that for Ichs new enclosure, I like the way you have them integrated into yours.
Sorry to hear about Chevy, it is never easy when our pet friends pass away. I hope you will continue to be active on the forum if/when you choose to get another tort.
Wow! These pictures are great. Tom you are one brave fellow for going on that adventure. I just showed the pics to my bf and he said he can't wait for Ichabod to dig a burrow that big so he can go exploring too. :-)
I think Ichabod is quite the ladies man, he has managed to charm all my friends. He enjoys marching around like a tiny dinosaur and showing off his handsome self. :-)
Lol, I am glad to know my baby isn't the only one who loves sleeping on his food plate! Good luck with your little one, make sure you check out the sulcata section of the forum :-)
