Some of the more experienced keepers here should be able to help. You might want to provide some more information on the temperatures, humidity, what you're feeding him etc
The Cuban tree frogs love to breed in my tortoises' little pools. I sucked out probably several thousand tadpoles this morning so they don't take over my yard
Can you have a pet sitter come by while you're gone and check on her? 10 days seems like a long time to leave her on her own without someone checking up
I had a dog house for my torts like that one and it rotted and fell apart in less than a year. The materials are very cheap. Try a plastic one if you want a pre made house
I have some cactus pads for sale on eBay. I can fit about 2 pounds in an envelope or more in a box if you'd like more.
I'm happy to work w any TFO members if you want to PM me or click on "make offer" on eBay.

I have a tall cactus plant outside my office (no pesticides or chemicals) that has good pads and needs a good trimming. If you can figure out how to pay for the shipping I can cut you a bunch and send to you. I've given some to a friend who has a sulcata and he gobbled them up. Here's a picture...
A little off topic, but I had some tadpoles in my redfoot's little pool and I fed them just regular flake fish food and they seemed to like it and did well on it
Looks good but I'd be concerned about the wire you're using for the sides. Russians are escape artists and he'll probably try to climb up it at some point. I'd probably replace it with wood or some material he can't climb. Even if you have a cover over the top to prevent him getting out he may...
Very nice. That looks like the same house my russian has. The floor of it is removable and I pulled it out so she can dig down in the dirt and still gets shelter from the heat and rain.
My redfoot loves her little pool. Its a cement mixing tub with enough rocks on the bottom so she can walk across touching the bottom and can get in and out on her own.
