I have him on sphagnum moss only. Cypress chips on bottom. I dont spray the habitat or wet it down. The reptifogger does that for me. I soak him daily. I do find the fogger get the substrate pretty wet if ran a while. I will turn it down and go from there.

Those are amazingly little compare to the full size. Unfortunately, even though I am extremely fascinated with the Aldabra tortoise, I am unable to house or keep such a big tortoise. Maybe later in life I will :) Great looking tortoises though
10.0 uvb is a little too much and i have been reading about it harming other owners torts. i use uvb but its the tropical 5.0 for my redfoot. you could use a 5.0 and supplement outside time.
