I have 2 male sulcatas that I'm looking to rehome. I've had them both for 10 years or so. They were both rescues that I took in. Let me know. I'm located in Indiana. I’m not concerned about price. If someone can offer them a good home, I’d be happy. They are my boys and I just want them to...

I took advantage of LLLReptile's Russian deal. Here is the enclosure done just in time for their arrival. Happy to welcome Igor, Gleb, Feydor, Elvira, and Olga to our tortoise family. The enclosure is 20 feet by 5 feet.
I've had these for a couple years but only recently have they started mating. The male is still a little on the small end, but I'm hopeful.
The enclosure is an outdoor temporary deal we use when we are supervising them. We try to get them out a lot.
A few members from Indiana have expressed an interest in having a get together somewhere centrally located in our state. Since Indy is smack in the middle, it should be good. I was hoping to have anyone interested in this respond on here with suggestions of what we could do. We really just...

I'm not an expert on hingebacks, but thought they were omnivorous not herbivorous as they have described. Also, I thought hingebacks were much cheaper than this.
The weather is getting nicer, which means my boys are getting some more time out in the sun.
Both of these are of my first rescue, Carl. He is the one who's owner didn't want him anymore and dropped him off at a pet shop.
I rushed to take this first shot because it reminded me of my...
Of my tortoises, Oscar can only be described as a free spirit.
I was able to take them outside yesterday for some well deserved sun. Hopefully again this afternoon before a snowstorm sticks us inside again.
Thankfully there have been nice enough days each month to get them out in the sun and...
So, I was at a nice Irish Pub having a drink and dinner. The following transpired.
Clown: Do you want a balloon animal?
Me: Do you take requests?
Clown: It depends.
Me: TORTOISE!
Clown: Let me see.
AND THEN...

This is at the Indiana State Fairgrounds on January 20. It doesn't look like there will be much in the way of torts, but it's worth a shot.
First, it was in the mid 60's today here in central Indiana. 2 weeks ago we had a foot of snow. So, I let my boys graze for a bit in the sun today. I'll start with Carl...
Oscar was dedicated to eating the whole time, except to pose for pictures.
Next, the...
I was worried that they were too reclusive the first couple of days. Now, they're both eating well. Also, I came home to find them sunning together. They are letting me see their true personalities now.

The pictures were taking directly after a 15 minute soaking. I've had them for about 2 days now. I've witnessed both defecate and urinate. I've...
I've been keeping a couple Sulcatas and love them to death. They are both males, kept separately, and I have no intentions of breeding them. I will continue to rescue Sullies that need my love, but want to get a smaller species to keep and breed.
After looking at options, I am strongly...
I took these pics on my trip to the zoo today. I only took a couple. People were starting to worry about me because I was just standing there watching them for so long.
