My water is always cloudy even after I swap the water out. Will those moss ball things clear the water and if I put one in will it be eaten by the turtles?
It's bad I ordered 2 map turtles and they never checked if they will live past 2 weeks. One of my maps has no eyes and has a disformed head. It will not eat because it is too stressed to figure out where it's at.

Just found out I am allergic to coconut and since I have been using it for my substrate I don't want to take a chance on having an allergy attack one day from it. What is the best next substrate for a eastern box turtle besides coconut substrate.
Well I was thinking of buying one of those giant 50 gallon heavy duty totes when they grow out of their tank. So I can save up for a 100 gallon tank for them.
I have a floating dock that is made of plastic. And it's a 20 gallon tank for 1 inch map turtles. I have 2 of them. I don't know where to put a dirt area

I just moved and I want a tortoise or a box turtle. I have a quarter acre of land to roam during the warm seasons. I have a 4x4 area I can put it inside. I think a box turtle would be better since during the summer I work alot more then the winter.
