I need to build a tank for an adult red foot. I found some plexiglass, but my question is; do you guys think that 4 foot long x 2 foot wide x 1 foot tall would be big enough?

What should be a normal eating habit for a tortoise? Morning? Day? Night? Murtle doesn't seem to come out often. If we pull her out and put her by the food she eats it ALL, but doesn't seem to come out on her own. Maybe she does when I'm not looking but non of the food is gone if she does

Hey guys! So my red footed tortoise doesn't seem very active. If I pull her out she will eat and drink, I soak her a couple times a day, I never see her out on her own though. Should I be concerned?

Can I not use pine shavings for a substrate?
