Madeleine, I assume you are in the US. I live in Louisiana, and have had the best vet help by taking my turtles/torts to our state’s veterinary school. I don’t know if that’s a realistic option for you or not. Our vet school has a whole Exotics department, and they operate a clinic for animals...

What do yall like to use for above-tank basking areas? I'm planning on using plastic light diffuser tied together with cable ties. I figure I should add soft plastic window screen for him to walk on. But am open to ideas that others have found useful! :)
