    Hay

Definitely yes you can feed horse hay to torts. We buy 8 foot bales for our horses and my older leopards eat it no problem. I did have a concern at first because my hay provider uses an inoculate when baling, can't remember the name at the moment but I did get in touch with the company that...

    Canadian members

Missed it, always find it fun to go and visit. The Expos are usually really packed with tire kickers makes it hard to navigate but fun anyway. Not always just snakes, but yes not many torts available. Too bad really.

    what's up with mazuri???

I'm feeding Mazuri as well but not to obtain fast growth, rather to provide a varied diet. My leopards also get Zoo Med grassland and I'm so proud of them they eat it dry. Up here in Canada it's a real challenge to feed properly and occasionally life gets in the way of our precious friends so...

    Help possible eggs imminent

I hope so as well but if not at least I'll have a good chance to get acquainted with my new incubator:). I'm still having trouble getting the humidity up past 65%. The eggs are on wet vermiculite, in a sterilite box, small bowl of water in with them and also another small bowl of water in...

    Help possible eggs imminent

Well we finally have eggs! Luka layed two sometime last night, not in a nest but just out in the open. I've been like a worried old hen watching her these last few weeks. She's been eating like a horse and very bright so I decided she was going to take her own sweet time. Anyway eggs are in...

    Dislocated Jaw?

Totally agree that a vet visit is needed. The sudden loss of appetite is a real concern. Poor little guy, let us know how the visit goes. Good luck and hope it's nothing too serious.

Very sweet little guy. These guys grow at all different rates, my new little one weighed in at 56 grams @ 5 months and now at 11 months she weighs 172 grams.
