Sorry about the long wait for the pics, been crazy busy the last few days.

I see what you mean, but I'm pretty sure he is still a bit too small to climb on it yet. The soil/sand is a few inches deep, maybe I will dig him a shallow area and put the logs there instead.
The temps and stuff are all fine, did loads of research on that when we got him (about 4 months ago)...
He can just about fit into his water dish, but only just. He does get a bath pretty much every day though. I will have to keep an eye out for some pebbles and bits and pieces. :)

Can anyone identify this? It looks so green and tasty for Frank, but I cant see it in any of the other posts, and I dont have a clue what it is.
If its any help, it was growing in a fairly sandy sort of scrub land, in a small bush about 30-40cm high, pretty much on its own.
I just wanted to say a quick thanks to everyone for the advice. Last night I lowered the lamp so the temperature was about 35, and after a warm bath and a bit of a sunbathe, he finally ate some food! Not a huge amount, but he chomped happily on various leaves and a bit of butternut squash. So...
Thanks for all the advice everyone. Now I think about it, I feel the temperature under the lamp may indeed be the cause of his not eating. When we first got him, we could only clip the lamp on the side of the table, and the basking spot was about 36c. We thought that was too hot, so I mocked up...
Ok, so we got our first tortoise 2 weeks ago today. We did loads of research but we are having problems feeding him.
So here is the deal. We don't know how old he is but he is about 4-5 inches from head to tail, and currently weighs about 75g. We keep him in a purpose built tortoise table...
