RE: Food for desert dwelling type of Torts Cool. Snapdragons, California Poppies and Primrose are safe! You answered my 3 questions.

I can't find Snap Dragons on any of the plant lists, does anyone know if they are toxic for my desert torts? And what about Primrose? I've seen it listed as ok for the torts but I've also seen it listed as toxic.

Just use one of those ceramic plates that go under flower pots. I put my torts underneath the sprinklers so they can play and get a good soak and drink water at the same time.

Are morning glories toxic to DT's? I've seen one care sheet where it said they were toxic and another where it said they were a great idea for a tortoise garden. I am confused, are they or are they not?

Males can get along together if they are raised together. I have two male 9 year old DT's and they have been together since they were eggs. They sleep together, eat together and go their own separate ways around the yard when they want some space... but they always go back into their enclosure...

Roses are a safe yummy treat for them (petals and leaves)... Rinse the bottom parts of the rose bushes as far as the torts can reach.
