I'm talking about tortoises in general, that will eat only lettuce. People should already know what kind of foods their tortoise species eat. The reason I didn't add specific foods, is that each and every tortoise eats different things.

I mostly get the feeder goldfish. They are cheap + they live very long. I honestly think they don't deserve to be overcrowded in small tanks, so they could be fed to someone's pet. Though, the only downside is they more likely carry parasites and diseases due to the condition they are in.

I'm not so sure, but that may be a scrape or something else. If i'm not wrong, shell rot is mostly on the plastron (bottom part of the shell) of tortoises. But I suggest you double check since I am probably not 100% accurate.
