    Haha, a dense tortoise, I like that! I'm not worried at all, she's been that size and weight for a few years now, she's very healthy and happy.

    I saw that "Females may reach weights of over 1,000 grams" on Chris's website, that's why I assumed that mine was exceptionaly big, but if you're right 12 inches is not that unusual.
