    I love ornate she has a very feisty personality. I haven't had my three toe babies long enough to get to know their personalities. My Easters are beautiful with a more laid back personality[hr] I meant easterns. I hate spell check . Disregard any other spelling errors please

    I'm from Athens Georgia. It great raising turtles and tortoise here. It's humid and we have long hot summers and the winters a mild. All of mine are young so I still kept them in during the winters

    Can wasps hurt my turtles and tortoises. The wasp are drawn to the water in their enclosures. I don't want to spay anything that would harm the tortoises. We are setting up one of those bags that attract and trap the wasp and bees. Is there anything else that I should be doing?

    outside temps for baby sulcata

    How cold is to cold just to take Moses ( hatchling Sulcata) outside to get his daily dose of sun and exercise and how long should we stay outside. We have been going daily for 30 to 40 minutes. I live in Georgia and right now the temps are hanging around 60f but it will get colder soon.

    I thank you and my husband really thanks you for this thread. I felt like little Moses would be lonley with me gone most of the day. I have the space for two sulcatas when they get older, but now I am happy knowing he is happy with me being his best friend. Thanks again for all the great info!!

    Thanks for all the wonderful welcomes. Moses is my first tortoise so I am very excited to get all the info that any one is willing to give. I have done a lot of research before he actually arrived. But I know there is so much to learn. My name is Nicole and I am from Georgia.
