Don’t know how I missed it, just saw Tom say in a comment that you shouldn’t keep baby sulcata tortoises in a pair. Needs to 3-4 or 1.
So I am looking for any hatchlings for sale!

I don’t know what got rid of them, was watching them to see if they got worse, the tort shed a lot of skin and they’ve completely disappeared.
Substrate I have a huge amount, it’s really deep!

The tort is really good now, had a horrible start and is now growing so fast! No more yellow bumps either!
If you get some time I would love to ask you a couple of questions!
@Pastel Tortie no nothing at all, I first came to the forum with concerns about one having its umbilical scar, that’s all nicely healed now!
Everything I read before getting them was complete garbage! I’m pretty embarrassed to say the least!
Just one! Nothing as bad like those other people are showing! I never saw anything before so I don’t think they were ever bigger.
They almost look like a big pimple that’s popped and half way through healing.
I got two baby Sulcatas at the same time!

Hey everyone!
I tried searching and searching for information about this, and I’m sure it’s something basic! After soaking my baby sulcatas I noticed a black growth on the plastron on one! It looks to be going through! Please help!
