Time for some picture updates :)
Everything is going well and Petrie is growing good. He survived his brumation and is super active and enjoying the weather! (And I think he could be a she, not quite sure still small)
I was on reddit but not in r/tortoise but I visited r/turtle and r/turtles. It's sad what kind of posts pop up there.. so many people keeping there turtles in 2 inches of water and way too small tanks. Its filled with neglected pet posts. I tried to help and give info in very very polite ways...
Hello and welcome to the forum :) I'm not experienced enough to give u advice I only have a water turtle and never kept tortoises but I'm sure it would help others if u could post some pictures of ur enclosure and lights.

My tub has no drain in the bottom but I could drill one if needed. I'm currently watching a lot of videos of ug filters. And I think a diy build would be ideal.

Hm.. in this picture I would say hes male with that giant tail. I'm also not sure if it would be a female if it could already lay eggs at 3 years young. Let's wait for some more experienced members and see what they think :)
