Hello, My Eastern Hermanns turned four this month and I was wondering if it’s still too soon to sex? Does anyone know if it’s male or female? Ignore how dirty he/she is, they were in the yard enclosure all day and I take them in at night.

I just tried to get it up there and it didn’t work. Every time I went to squirt it rex put his head in and I dont want to try and hold it‘s head and hurt . He/she is only three inches super small. Any tips for me to get the saline in there?

He is in a closed chamber enclosure now and thriving so that’s why I was hesitant to do this. I let him out on the deck in a rubber maid container with water and a hide for about 45 minutes on nice days. Thanks for the advice I guess I’ll continue to just do that until he’s older and ready!

Wow this was very informative thank you! I agree I do not feel comfortable leaving it alone for days , I mean I change it’s water , clean up food, check temps alll day I cant imagine leaving with no tort sitter I’d be so nervous. Maybe in a few years but not a baby

Since its just a little guy , yes it will have a complete set up like at my house... His big plastic bin, UVA light and UVB bulb along with the CHE. Also it’s soaking bowl. For now it’s easy to transfer his whole enclosure because he lives in a 4x2 Rubbermaid
