Are these grasses safe to feed? Both can be found in abundance here and the cattle eat it. Dries into hay VERY well, and would be added to the winter mix of Timothy, orchard, and alfalfa hays.

Shes 2.11lbs as of today! It's definitely going to be alot of work, more work then I thought, even with all the research but Im committed to her care and giving her the best life I possibly can.

Okay, so it would be fine to add some to her daily food items for the remainder of the fall! I gave her a few pieces and she loves it! I'll have to keep my eyes out for it next year as well!

Yeah, its growing wild. Unsure if it flowers or not, found it growing on one of the old abandoned homesteads around here.

So far. I've just had to give less hay/chop it up very fine and wetting it down so the hay sticks to the foods...but she is getting some. She is definitely searching for the big pile of "candy" though lol. It shouldn't take long since she was eating it pretty well before.

Going back to high fiber, firm poops should get get then moving if that is the case correct?
