Just an update - The little girl is doing really well. She's very active and there are no signs of bleeding or oozing. She keeps moving towards her basking area to sleep - so far so good 🙂
Absolutely, that's the plan. I will see how she does overnight, the bleeding has stopped and I will clean her in the morning again. Thank you for all your help 🐢
Thanks Yvonne. I see she has moved to a different spot in the enclosure so she is moving around. She is under a little pile of loose hay. There is a reptile vet that I can travel to. Where the blood is coming from, do you think an organ is at risk?

I took the little man to the vet and he has to be euthanized 😔 His intestines had ruptured and become nucrotic which is why they were brown. He would've only survived another week or so and would not have been able to eat and digest in that state. It's a really sad situation. Thanks to everyone...

I rescued a parrot beaked juvenile tortoise from the road today. Someone drove over the side of his shell. A top piece of the carapace has shifted, there is a crack in the side and some intestines are hanging out the side.
The tortoise is lucid, walking and no longer bleeding.
