Kale, A good food choice or not

Okay so I have had my Russian Tortoise for a few months now (about 6 months) and I've of course tried different foods and one that I tried and are really confused about is Kale. Now most (if not all) of the places that I looked on for food ideas said that Kale was a good choice. So I tried it...

    Anyone familiar with this?

I mean I feed my Tortoise daily. Tell me if I'm wrong to do that. But he's hungry every day. Just saying because they say that they feed them twice a week, sometimes once a week and rarely once a month. I mean please tell me if I'm feeding my little guy too much.

I have no idea what I'm doing.

True and I would think that if you know that you're going to get one that you would do the proper research. At least that's what I did before I even thought about getting one to see if I was able to properly take care of one.

That sucks I wonder if mine do that. I'm not going to use them if I have to use a food processor.

    Shell Growth

That's usually can be a sign that the tortoise doesn't have enough calcium in his diet. Or the tortoise has a high protein/low fiber diet. What do you feed her? It can also be caused by low humidity.

    The night time temp.

Hello, I am brand new to the Forum and to having a Tortoise. A couple day ago I got a about 4 and a half year old Russian Tortoise. At first he would not eat and it took him a couple days to start eating. But finally he started doing it on his own. (But he really loves lettuce.) Anyways, I read...
