    Little spikes on the inside of cactus?

    Hello all! I recently sourced some opuntia from outside. It’s not treated with any pesticides. While I was preparing it I noticed little bristles or spikes on the inside. Is this normal and ok to feed to my yearling torts? Thanks!!

    Yes. Gopher and Desert torts both have ranges that contain Opuntia cacti.
