    russian yearling, table or vivarium?

It's a good idea to make it look nicer but I was scared he'd have a nibble thinking it was real although the more I watch him and get to know him I don't actually think he would. I have spider plants in mine, in small pots so he can't completely wreck them but gives him something to nibble and...

    russian yearling, table or vivarium?

Hiya you sound just like me! I'm a new owner too. How old is yours? I'm confused about what age they become an adult because mine is 2 years old and going off what the internet says he's not far off fully grown really. Do you have a uvb light? I know that is really important. Jennifer

    Hi everyone!

Couple of other questions, am I supposed to feed him every day? I read a few places advising 5 days out of 7? And if he spends a lot of time in his hide will he still benefit from the uvb light? Because he is completely covered and in darkness in there. Thanks

    Hi everyone!

Honestly I've spent ages looking and looking again, I wanted to go for as many green options as possible rather than the orange and most of these seem to be in the weeds/plants section rather than vegetables because surely in moderation doesn't mean I can give these things to him every day but I...

    Hi everyone!

Hi @JoesMum thank you for your reply. I feel sad that I'm not doing things right for my tortoise after getting so much advice from lots of online sites and also the pet shop where I bought him. It was them that said I should use a red bulb because he won't be able to see it at night but at least...

I wonder if you can give me some inspiration for what to give woody to eat in these winter months because I'm struggling to give him a good variety and a lot of the plants on the tortoise table I've...
