    Yeah, these were some of the support for why I was fairly confident it would be safe to use around them. Just surprised it isn’t a common suggested treatment for fire ants on TFO since it’s labeled for that use and wondered if anyone had tried it. The ants are no joke here.

    Definitely wouldn’t ever consider removing the any of the Gopherus. We are happy they are there and hope there are more. Just want to make sure our tortoises are protected. Our cleared 10 acres backs up to an uncleared 10 acres, so there’s plenty of room for them.

    Ok great, thanks for the info. I’ve heard several references to the respiratory disease issue with gopher tortoises and the affect relocations have had on its spread. I’ll definitely read up more on it now!

    Hi, I’m coming out of my shell for my first post! I’m located in Florida’s central east cost and our new three Aldabras live in an outdoor enclosure with heated night box. They love eating, napping and water sprays. Still working on names!!
