Thank you. He isn’t underweight and is actually large for his age.
where did you hear they should put on 20lbs a year?
he grazes grass, get cucumber snacks daily, and mazuri LS soaked once a week. I don’t soak him but I do fill his mud puddle up and shoot him with a hose daily. He has access...
My 3yr old 40lb sulcata has a slight stagger step in both his back legs. This might just be how he walks and I am just noticing, but wanted to run it past y’all just in case it means something I am not aware of.
I have video but can’t figure out how to post it…..
My sulcata acts similar to this when he wants to be picked up. Of course the only reason he wants to be picked up is so he can be carried to the “good” grass. Like when a toddler puts up their hands and screams “up up up up”
Hey neighbor! I am always foraging plants for my guy. I have some cactus pads that are ready for planting right now that I can share! [email protected]
My tort has what is best described as a nose whistle. No snot or drainage of any kind, seems like normal self. He is inside right now because of a major ice storm so I might just have become hyper aware of his breathing. Do your torts get nose whistles? Can you hear them inhale?
5 years or 5 months? Does age matter? I offer water and he has a large pool when the weather is nice but I have only seen him drink three times in his whole life. This is his first winter outside and it’s an adjustment for both of us!
