I know what I’m doing I take him to the vet and he gets his reptile supplement powder twice a week mixed in with his fruit salads. I feed him protein such as hard boiled eggs, wet cat food and cooked chicken. Just seems to be super lazy lately
George my red foot tortoise is about 2 years old now. He grew a lot in the first year. He is inside for the winter and his enclosure gets to 82 F. He seems to not be that active as he was. I mostly have to take him out so he goes to have a drink of water and eat his food. Hasn’t eaten that much...
I just realized it's from the heat lamp. I took the plant out and all the rest of the leaves are also burnt and broken off. I still have him a soak though and he's fine.
I have a philodendron indoor plant in my tortoise enclosure. I know their not that poisonous but I'm freaking out as I am newer to owning a tortoise and he decided to take a couple bites of it. Should I be worried?? Posted a photo to what it looks like

I adopted George ( red foot) a week ago. Came in a exo Terro glass terrarium. We built him our own enclosure with natural plants and planted grass. Lady who had him before was feeding him aquatic turtle pellets only. Finally hes coming out and eating all his greens and seems to love portobello...
