    New baby Sulcata.

For substrate you'll want coco-coir or orchid bark (fir bark). The humidity is going to be a challenge with an open enclosure like that, but people have used foil to seal the top to keep the humidity in. I'm sure someone will be along with pictures of ideas soon. There are also small greenhouse...

It just occurred to me that you could try contacting your local news stations and see if they'd be interested in getting the word out. Maybe try knocking on doors and introducing yourself and giving a brief explanation of the situation along with the flyer? It might make people more likely to remember and keep an eye out. @Ray--Opo @Bee62 cross your fingers ❤️ we want Curtis home safe

Are you able to post some pictures of the wound? How long ago did the wound happen? How are you housing the tortoise while it is injured? @Yvonne G any advice for situations like this?

    Retrofit night box for winter

The Kane mat I got from @TylerStewart at tortoisesupply.com does not have an integrated thermostat that enables/disables power as far as I know. It is supposed to maintain 37F above ambient temperatures at all times, according to what I remember from the paperwork.
