    SA Leopards

Just curious if you know their shell length. I think "Tom" ended up being the smaller of the males I saw from the 2010 bunch. It seems to be a bigger spectrum of adult size on the SA males vs SA females.

    2010 South African Leopard Thread.

I’m trying a new technique at “room temperature” (75 degrees) for the first 6 weeks or so instead of the wine cooler method. I can’t leave them in the ground because of our high moisture content in the soil down in Louisiana, along with other factors like fire ants and a high water table. So...

Meet my new baby Leopard SPP

beautiful little tortoise. Though it looks a little different than most PP. Who was the breeder involved and did they provide pictures of the parents? The reason I ask is that a ton of "pp" babies are falsely sold as true pp just for higher profit margins. Hopefully this is not the case with yours

    Large leo

Karen has picked my brain a lot over the past year. She just acquired that female in a trade with another lady. I remember seeing pictures of Wanda Pattersons large female which was quite large but didn't look like a typical SA leopard. I've been searching to see if I could find a picture and I...

    Large leo

I was actually just about to message you Will. I've been talking to Karen and she said this female was purchased as a baby from Wanda Patterson. Do you remember what line Wanda Patterson's adults originated from? I know she no longer breeds PP

It’s nearly impossible to eliminate any pyramiding of some degree. I have babies raised in identical manner side by side and some are a struggle to prevent pyramiding whereas others grow out very smooth . I believe there is a genetic component to how prone some individuals are to developing...

    Babcocki vs. Pardalis

I have thousands of pictures saved from various wild locals. I can promise you I’ve looked at more high def photos of wild leopards of all stages of life than likely anyone else in this forum. I semi obsess over it. I just think it’s a far stretch to see one photo from a not so good angle, and...

    Leopard P. Pardalis not growing....

How do you know it’s 100%? Do you know the parent group? I did not rule out that it’s pure. I’m saying based on the large amount of babies (both mixed and pure) I’ve seen over the years that it appears to be mixed. The higher dome shell for one. The vast majority of pure babies have a much...
