Love me some Leopard torts!

My favorite way to house babies was in a closed chamber. High humidity and low wattage heat bulbs to produce warm temps helped mine grow smooth.
Enjoy searching through the forum. You'll be overwhelmed with info at times but it's for a good cause...helping you to do your best for them!
Congrats and welcome

This is a nice size. I don't see a water dishthough. Maybe i am just not seeing it, but he needs water available all the time. The terra cotta saucers work well if you sink them down level with the substrate. Should be big enough for him to crawl into. Looks like coir substrate. That is a great choice. Keep it very moist. If you can cover the enclosure it will hold the humidity a lot better. This will help avoid pyramiding. I like the looks of the pavers in there. Add a couple of plants, i just put potted plants, to give him sight barriers. This helps with humidity too.

Thank you so much Jodie for the suggestions. Here is a pic of the enclosure as it is now. There are 2 Leo's in there now. I do have an outside enclosure for daytime sunbathing and grazing. They do get daily warm soaks each day.
Any suggestions for safe potted plants I can put in with them would be great.....ImageUploadedByTortoise Forum1415986975.052099.jpg
