I really doubt you'll find an answer to this question here. Even Google can't find the answer.

Arnold's is exctinct as well Re the others in late 1800s they were over collected by captain cook. There's a few subspecies left of Aldabras. I have a paper on it somewhere have to find it though. Besides theArnold's the other were very small in relation to modern living specimens.

They each came from different islands like the Galapagos. Not certain how many sub species are known today but there use to be quite a few within the atoll. Most we're moved to Mauritius and Seychelles and consolidated way back when.

One difference between the subspecies is every time the carapax but sorry I don't know to explain the exactly difference I English sorry :-D

Maybe there is more recent data on this, however I don't think anyone has really settled what species and subspecies are what- when it comes to the aldabra island tortoises. I believe taxonomists are still fighting over everything.. even the basics.
