I know dandelion greens are good, but my whole foods doesn't have those right now. They DO have sunflower greens. Are those alright though? Haven't been able to find information.

I've never seen the greens in stores before, either...I have seen sunflower sprouts, though. I've asked my local Whole Foods if they can get edible flowers in for me (mostly pansies, snapdragons and calendula, I think). They're sold in little flat plastic boxes like herbs. I bought them once a while ago at Meijer's. Hope the WF can get them!

Sunflower leaves and stems are fine. I feed some every year.
