So this is a tortoise website/forum I want to see your dogs! Upload pictures and describe them!
This is my dog Kiwi. He looks like a pup but is almost 2 years old. He is a mutt haha. Kiwi is the sweetest most calm dog I've met. Kiwi is always smiling or wagging his tail for no reason! His cousin who is also a dog living with us named Kylie is a fire cracker! She is mostly a Heeler mix with big ears and lots of spunk! I love my baby and his cousin! Let's see your dogs! On the left is my shepherd mix, Cocoa. She will be 13 years old this summer. Not too thrilled about that. I adopted her from the animal shelter when she was not even 8 weeks old. She has been a great dog. Gentle, sweet, in her younger years extremely obedient and wanted so badly to please. My best friend.
On the right is my shih Tzu, Gizmo. He will be turning 6 years old this summer. I would have never chosen a shih Tzu on my own. His original family did not want him anymore and just gave him to me when he was 7 months old. They knew we fostered dogs and said "please just take him, we aren't really dog people". I never liked shih Tzu's. But I'll tell you, I am completely in love with this dog. He is hands down the most physically affectionate dog I have ever known. You can hug him, squeeze him, give him raspberries all day long and he eats it up. He loves everyone and everything. In his mind, everyone is his best friend.
I love them both with all my heart.

Willow and Homer. Homer (black) will be 14 years old in March. He is a mix of who knows what. He looks like a tiny black lab. Very smart, easy dog. Willow (brindle) is a mix of something (shelter said staffie, vet says boxer). She is almost a year old. She is my redemption dog. We didn't do an awesome job of training our other two (Homer and our chihuahua, Gremlin, who passed away in November from prostate cancer.) She had been our motivation to learn and do better...and Homer is reaping the benefits of our new found knowledge, as well! Anyway, pictures! That's what you came to see anyway!!

I have three chihuahuas:

Pixel ~ 9-10 yr. old
I rescued her when I lived in Austin. Poor baby was left in the backyard when her previous owners move out; I believe it was several weeks before she was discovered.
Pixel012.jpg

Moxie ~ 6 yr. old
She is my floppy-eared chihuahua; for whatever reason, her ears never got strong/thick enough to stand up.
m003.jpg

Vixen ~ 5 yr. old
She is, hands down, the smartest dog I have ever owned. I am pretty sure she is part Basenji, she has a lot of cat-like traits (as shown in the photo, she always lays with her paws folded in like that) and makes the strangest vocalizations ever!

Some of these pictures are so cute!!!

Here are a few of my own. First one is Flower. She is a Lowchen. Then my silver mini poodle licking snow off his nose.
And a picture of the bunch of them running off in the fresh snow. The little guy lagging behind, with the green sweater is my 15 year old poodle Fly.

This is my sweet Lola. We rescued her from a local shelter when she was 8 weeks old. She's 8 years old now. She's super smart and a great family dog. ImageUploadedByTortForum1391472411.703139.jpgImageUploadedByTortForum1391472435.177752.jpg

We have four dogs.

Laila (on left) is a pit bull boxer mix; she is about two years old. Ali (on right) is a pit bull; she is about 1 year old. Both are rescues.

Codie is a 14 year old Yorkie. He has a cataract in one eye, losing his hearing, has seizures and a collapsing trachea. But, he's actually in really good shape and relative healthy for his age.

Newly adopted Yorkie. He's 3.5 years old, according to the chip info my vet pulled. We couldn't get ahold of the original owners, neither could the local animal control shelter I adopted him from apparently (they new his name but didn't mention the chip). His name is Chewy.

In the second picture, she has learned that my camera makes a very small light flash prior to the actual flash going off, and she always squints her eyes to avoid the bright flash. She's a pretty smart cookie!

So pretty. She's a Doberman? You don't see many brown and tan ones.

She's supposed to be "fawn," however, the color looks just like the "red" dobermans to my untrained eye.
