I have been growing these this year for a winter food for my little Indian Star, and one is going to bloom, Do these die after blooming ? If they do I will cut the leaves now and preserve them for later use.I can't remember the name of the plant but Whetstone eats it, and he is so small a little goes a long way with him. Thanks.

They don't die after flowering. I have had one for many years and they flower in the winter here.
