I think the world might be a happier place if everyone had an aldabra to put in a tub, and had a tiny towel for its head. Too stinkin' cute. :)

Very creative, big for 18 months old!

Thanks. My aldabra loves hot bath. I bathe him once everyday or at least once every 2 days.

Yes, it grows fast, I feed him Mazuri food mainly, 5-10 pcs when he was a baby, now 13 pcs daily, but I also give him some vegies and fruits from time to time, around once every 2-3 days. I also feed him Zoomed grass food once every 1-2 weeks. he hates Zoomed grass, but when hungry, he eats them.

I got my aldabra when he was a babies around 4-5 inch, he had pyramids, I provide lot of protein food at first, like Mazuri food, and Polish Tropical feed, then I reduce the protein level gradually. I also provide high humidity (thanks to your and others' advice), I spray water a lot on his head and shell. Now his shell is getting rounder and rounder.

My experience, my aldabra likes 70%-85% humidity, 26-30 degree C, hot spot 35 degree C. lots of UVB or sun. feed 20% protein when baby, feed 15% protein when big baby, 10% protein when adult. I think. Am I correct? Thanks.

* Seems to working good for you. I don't think the towel has any value and i would add that he gets plenty of opportunity to exercise! You seem to be a very conscientious and dedicated to your aldabra!

Thanks for your great advice again.

Yes, I am dedicated to raising my aldabra, I've even sold all my other tortoises, now only spend lots of time studying and raising this one aldabra, lol.
