When she was younger and we thought she was a he!

Sleepy Tort, we always see it as a sign of comfort in her surroundings, sleeping head and legs out.

Alvira seems a cool name, what do people think?

I like Alvira. Nothing wrong with changing a male name to suit a female - I see it as kind of a heritage thing! :)

We thought he was. Got a doggie DNA test done and apparently he is almost pure border collie. No Burmese in sight.
