So glad you posted this. It gave me an idea of what too buy for hides. I'm not having to insulate or anything as it's just for a hide inside their heated shed. Cut entrance hole and I'll be done. The lighter weight will be much better and the size I need, around 49 bucks. Probably cheaper then making one.

Yes. I made one of these a few years ago. Lined the entire thing with hard insulation, then built an inner wooden box that fit perfectly inside. On the roof, i added foam & plywood. It provides a perfect place to hang an overhead radiant panel.

Bought the initial deck box from Sams Club. Inside i have a Kane heat mat.

Thanks for the idea! Sam's Club is $126 delivered to my house about the same time my 40W Radiant Heat Panel (that I just ordered) gets to me ?
