Just a few minutes ago I put my tortoise in her tub for a soak and left to do a bit of work and lost track of time , I quickly ran out of the house and found her on her back, I put her right and started to get worried so I asked my mum if we could go to the vet but she refused saying that its fine and its walking I checked this forum for similar problems and what I saw they all ended up dead, I panicked and begged my mum to call the vet she accepted and the vet told her she was fine even my mum told me that she was always flipped by her previous owner but I still dont believe her, I gave her some food and she scarfed it down like a hound but im still worried ive also given her some water and left her in a cool place to rest but im still very worried and its hard to function knowing that your pet might be at death's doorstep please tell me im I doing anything wrong I dont wanna lose her (she even making strange creaking noises)DSC04119.JPGDSC04124.JPG

She sounds like she will be fine. If you only have the water come up just past where the two shells, top and bottom meet, it's not likely they will drown.
Now though, take this as a lesson learn. They should not be left unattended when in a soak.
I also think you need a bigger soaking tub. It's best if they can move around.
