Hello, I'm in the process in finding a breeder that has/sells razorback musk turtle, but I have a question related to a breeder down in Florida. Does anyone have any type of experience with (Nauti-Lass Ponds & Critters, Inc), I have done my research about them but haven't had any luck finding much information. I have asked people that have met them, but never ordered from them sadly one got one from them but no response yet?

I'm also still gathering all my information and care related to razorbacks, with my research there requirements are similar to common musk just with varied changes, etc. But I would be interested if someone had any experience with them or any reputable breeder here that have razorbacks.

Yes that's them, your meaning they re-sell animals given to them from different sources? If they dont breed there own turtles. I may have to look into a more recommended source to purchase from.

Alrighty, I would definitely contact them to show me there turtles/photos of there setup and more. Thanks for that information:

Their About page says they breed and buy. The individual animal pages do not disclose origins, and the photos are stock.

This year it's been extremely hard to find any species...quarantine had so many folks looking for new family hobbies.

Pace yourself and don't settle for less than Great quality in terms of conversations with sellers and animals that become available to choose from. Settling for less leads to heartbreak in most cases, especially for new keepers.

************

These folks always have higher prices than most. I am not a customer; I tried contacting them several times about a species of interest and never heard back. If you can get into a conversation with them, I'd ask for good close-up photos of available animals and info about their origins (they breed, re-sell, and use wild caught stock):

They do not publish any kind of health guarantee on the website, so be sure to get details about that.

Will, do I have heard of the turtle source from people that purchase from them or from recommended people. However, there prices are pricey, but I guess it's good for a quality turtle, I'll hit other up and hopefully get into a conversation with them.

While with my research throughout the month; I heard from people, there customer service isn't good with the response. Otherwise - I'll try contacting them and hope they get back with me, overall I wanted to thank you Zenherper for your help and others who replied.

I bought a yearling of another species from him this spring. He had obtained it as part of a trade, and it was represented to him under a species name he doubted. He was correct in his identification and the wee one arrived in spectacularly good health.

Couldn't be happier start-to-finish. He knows the animals in his care very well and, even though he is a crazy-busy person, he is responsive and eager for his customers to be completely confident.
