This hurts my heart when I see torts on craigslist and especially when people own many at a time just to possible make a profit in return.
ALL of these torts are scrambled together in a tub with so much unnecessary stress! Poor guys. Wish I could save them all.

I really don't see anything bad in the pic. The tub is just for soaking purposes. They probably could use another tub or two but likely the torts are more worried about getting out then anyone else in there with them. Most people with lots of young torts soak them as a group.
The worse of the post to me is saying they are good around kids or looking for a tort for a kid. Kids if they are not tort geeks like the rest of us will get bored quickly and proper care will lack.
However, most craigslist post are horrible.

I just don't think she should be stressing them out in one tub like that.

That would have been just long enough for photos to be done so perspective buyers could see. Because they are in water, I agree a soaking situation, not permanent housing. Those situations are not idea, but hopefully short enduring.

Lots of people have to flip their tort to take pics of the bottom shell and even tail area to sex them or to just show condition of the shell.
Lots of torts get stressed looking in a soak.
The other pic they are eating.
Tortoises look good, no pyramiding anc they soak them.
I don't see anything bad at all about this ad.
Members/sellers at reptile shows house too many in small quarters for the shows which is usually 2 or 3 days.
These torts are in a soak for maybe 30 minutes.
Nope, nothing wrong with this one.

I personally know that seller and know the conditions that they keep their animals under and they are a great seller and I highly recommend them I am personally friends with them and they are very truthful and honest about their animals and They make sure not to sell any sick animals in this world that we live in everything has its price

I agree no issues here. I also know who the seller is. While they are the usual wild caught (or “farmed”) russians, this one is not a scam and the tortoises are getting soaked and cared for while they await homes.

I am hopeful, however, that the seller will transition away from selling imports and into captive breeding projects.

You should tell them about the Fauna Classifieds if they don't already know about them. Much more legit then CL. Although, I could tell there was nothing wrong with the way they looked, I wouldn't expect to pay top dollar from someone on CL. They usually are ones poorly taken care of and rehoming for a smaller fee.
