An odd peeing behaviour question?

Hi all, hope everyone's well!

Bit of a random one, Sheldon, like clockwork, quite happily does his toilet business during his bath time... he drinks within the first 5 mins, and then proceeds to pee and poop if he needs too.

However (this may be a coincidence but) I've been trying to introduce ground elder to his diet, because its a safe daily plant and it's In abundance where I live.

But both times I've tried to feed it him so far he's literally walked up to it, had a good sniff and his back legs simultaneously twitch - in, out, in, out and then fires what I can only describe as a p*ss cannon out of his rear end ?? pardon the language folks!

I've witnessed the leg twitching before expelling his pee when he's in the bath, so I assume that's what he's doing here...
Just seems strange that the ground elder seems to trigger it??
Obviously I expect him to be cautious of a new food for sure but this seems a sudden blast of pee is a bit unusual?!

Could anybody shed some light on this one or am I just reading into a natural behaviour too much?

I should note it's a completely clear liquid... when we first got him we were getting urates with his pee but after 3 weeks of regular soaks and correct enviro he literally pees clear all the time.

Anyway, any info/advice greatly appreciated!
Thanks Guys n Gals

Well, I haven't been in the tort world for very long, but I can say this...that's a new one!

Maybe a bit more research on elder is advised here. Are you sure it wasn't grown in a field with plants like 'wacky weed'?

Or manufactured in a facility that also handles mind-altering substances (and peanuts)?

Or perhaps it was pollenized by some crazed insect or bird?

I know! A sparrow ate moldy seeds and pooped them out, and they grew up 'challenged'.

If you honestly believe that it is none of these spectacular possibilities, then you are on your own.

I'm all out of suggestions. ???????
