Hey guys, so I have a Hermann’s Tortoise torotise who is around 2 years old, I just recently found out from HermanniChris at Garden State Tortoise that she is a he, so I have separated him from my female ( I found also on this thread they should have been separated from the beging) so he is now in a 3 by 2 foot enclosure, just as a size comparassion he Is around 4 or 5 inches. My question is, will he be okay in that size enclosure for the next few months while we are awaiting a bigger enclosure to be built for him?

He’ll be fine in that size for a few months. They’re surprisingly hardy animals once they get out of the hatchling stage. As long as he’s getting the essentials (food, uv, water) he’ll manage just fine for a bit

At 2 years old, unless he flashed you, he is still too young to 100% sex.
A 3x2 enclosure is good for a hatchling not really a two year old, not for months. Weeks yes. If they can't get enough exercise by roaming a big enough enclosure, they could develope problems walking, digestion and regulating temp as that size is hard to have the right temps needed.
Get 2 or 3 of the largest tote boxes you can get, 50 gallon or larger and put them end to end with a hole in each to access the next box.
You can also get pop up portable green houses cheap. Find one closest to a 4x5 or 3x6 or 4x8 and use that.
