Recently there has been some requests..."Let's see your Greeks, or Redfoots or other. But there never is a "lets see your Sulcata". I think it's because they are so popular and have so many topics with many photos all ready. So here it is...

Let's see your Sulcata who's over 10 years old...
and that leaves me out...who's first?

Here is Dudley. He belongs to my sister...he's old as heck... his gular amaze me...and his fore legs are bigger than my arms. He is massive and likes to chase me...and I run fast

View attachment 319292this is my big boy Salvador. 12 years old, about 160 lbs. and yes his "girlfriend" the tire in the background.

OMG!!! That’s what I named my tortoise until.....
One day HE laid an egg..? ?
So now SHE is called Sally...?
Great looking tortoise by the way....
But I am not sure but he might have an eye infection? What’s the white puss looking thing on the front of his eye???
If that is the case , go and get some eye drops for him . “Veterycin”. It is optical drops sold at pet stores.. ?
Good luck ?

Funny, "He laid an egg" lol. Bet that was a surprise! Thank you for your concern about his eye. Actually I posted my concerns about that some time ago, Its just water, like sleep in his eyes. Most time his eyes are tearing like he's crying. Sometimes its like white foam. From what I gather, Its normal.

Thank you . Yes this forum and the experts on here have been a great help for me to gain the knowledge needed to keep him thriving. The people on here are great!
I've been a member since 2012, I mostly just lurk here gaining knowledge and information. I don't post much mostly because I'm not good at posting pictures.
I just regret not knowing about this forum when I first acquired Sal back in 09. I'm like three years late to the party. lol

No...no... sweet pea.... that’s either an eye infection OR a respiratory infection.
For an eye infection— get those drops I was telling you about.
For a URI (respiratory infection) —he needs meds and higher temps in his night box ..
Sorry to be the informer.?
But please don’t hesitate to ask the pros on here . They know EVERYTHING ABOUT TAKING CARE OF ANIMALS!!! Ask one of them. Till then post lots more pictures of that eye and someone will help you out. So he can be healthy again!
NO tortoises eyes have bubbles or runny.
It actually means something. It’s like a red flag ? for you to get help before it gets worse and then have to spend lots of money on veterinary bills.
