The only time my tortoises feel warm to the touch is when they are under a CHE or basking light.

no she is a regular sulcata.....just beefy.
Eats lots of grass, and now clippings from kalipso farms.... she doesn’t LOOK fat but the doctor (and my arms) agree she could loose a few pounds....

Funny, just yesterday I was in Koopas shed turning her dirt to keep from getting too wet because she spills her water every day!! Anywho... but I felt the heat of her body when she walked up to me!!! Hit me like a heat wave. She’s 45 pounds. No CHE or heat panel.

Sure looks like a boy to me
I completely understand how people think she could be a boy being that weight....
but when I said she laid EGGS.... I figured that’s a definite positive that’s it’s a GIRL ??

Don’t you think that little face looks girlish?
And her belly is flat not concave like a boys.
If I could pick up 119 lbs I would take pictures for everybody... Any suggestions?
How to take a “belly” shot without flipping her over?

Get out a big mirror at least as big as she is & lay it on the floor. Get 2 friends--one to help you lift her straight up & the 2nd to take a picture of her underside reflected in the mirror. Or forget the mirror & have someone scoot underneath her while you have her lifted straight up & take the picture from below her.
Hopefully, she doesn't fart, poop or pee on y'all during the photo shoot.
