So I have posted photos of the basically new pens I made for Big Sam and Mary Knobbins. My pens are not fancy like a lot I see here. Anyway, I gave Big Sam just a little more room with lots of graze, and after Sam saw what I did he started grazing on that lush side immediately. So I went into the front yard and pulled a few weeds and set up the sprinkler and then I went inside to my bedroom and looked out the window to check on Sam and son of a bit*h! He's broken into the box turtle pen and is trying to get into the other tort pen. Sometimes I wish I had Hermanni or Redfoots who don't freakin cause as much trouble as a Sulcata...Big Sam from my bedroom window

ohhhhh.... my dear sweet Maggie...
I know how you feel. Sometimes they are just so ungrateful.... it’s like a kick in the pants...This is where I grab my ear buds and blast some music. Calms me down from wanting to.... slap them!
all I can say is.....ummph...?
Ok.... say to yourself...
If this is the worst of my day, I should thank the lord . ?
nothing was broken (except you will to live),
No one was hurt ( vet bills)
You didn’t fall over the cinder block (dr. Bills)
Tortoise is showing he’s healthy (punk)
And ... well... he didn’t get to the IROC!!!?
All that said ... I know how you feel....
stepped on.
I am sending you a hug ? just so you can
feel less abused... ?

A utility van with a secure barrier behind the seats or a horse type trailer?.
I have a large wooden box with a lid that locks, and it has held many a tortoise for the road trip to my sister's house... it's dark so whoever is in the box mostly sleeps. It fits perfectly in the back of my Camaro with the seats down. I only stop for fuel so whatever tort is in the box is really not uncomfortable for long. I usually make the trip in 9 or 10 hours. I always bring my cat on road trips also. My problem right now is the lack of gas money, it usually costs between $600 and $800. I can usually get the money...

Oh no thank you, Charlie is 3 years old and 31 pounds. 1 is enough for me! LOL Are you really wanting to give him away?
Yes, I have a male who evidently had a sex change operation, and is now a female. I can't have a male like Sam knocking Mary on her back, or knocking her up, for that matter. Sam is a nice tortoise but his weight is a bit light and I just think he'd be better off in warmer weather and more graze

Well, I do not get the same gas mileage as a Prius. On a good day if I keep my foot out of it I can get abt 25 mpg hiway miles. In town it's 9 mpg. I am on my 3rd engine, a Corvette LT1. I have traded decent gas mileage for power. Each engine has been more powerful and that's what I like.
