Hi,

I've had two wooden tunnels in Norman's enclosure, one is like a hollowed log and the other is joined sticks that you can mould into different shapes.

Both are showing signs of mould due to the moisture in the enclosure so I've had to remove them.

Does anyone have any suggestions of alternatives that are plastic/resin? I'm in the UK, any links would be greatly appreciated!

Cheers
Adam

Corrugated black drainage pipe. It comes in several diameters. It can be cut the length that you want and cut lengthwise to sit on top of the ground or can be buried in the ground so with one or both ends open. It's almost indestructible. Large diameter pipe can be expensive but you can often find short pieces cut off from full pieces at highway departments and construction sites. They will usually give them away because they have no use for small pieces. All of my enclosures have at one buried in the ground that the tortoises spend very hot or very cold days in to escape the weather.

I have used flipped over recycling bins, cat litter tops/bottoms, dish bins...just because I can't find anything big enough for her otherwise.

My water turtle is a little smaller so I commissioned a little ceramic hide for him.
