I bought too much veg for him this week and it'll go off before he can eat it, can I Freeze it and save it for later? It was fresh when I bought it so I thought it'd be okay but I just wanted to double check...

A lot of things turn very yucky and mushy once thawed, so without knowing what you have, it might be better to freeze and serve up in a casserole for urself! Good luck

Because I feed so many, I always buy a lot. It usually lasts about a week in the fridge. I chop up three days worth and keep it in a tightly covered bowl.

I freeze pumpkin and papaya and green beans and squash and strawberries and reptilinks for my forest torts... the greens I serve from the fridge, within a week.

If its greens it might work if you vacuum seal it first then freeze.
I do this to leaves from the trees. I use the storage vacuum seal bags that you suck the air out with your vacuum cleaner.

I put the leafy greens that don't freeze well in ice water (to cool them quicker) in a sealed container then place them in the refrigerator.
