Hello, I am new the forum. Our family just adopted a 3 year old Russian Tortoise, we called Ella. As I should have imagined, Ella has become my baby... although she sleeps in my daughters' room.
I have become fond on Ella. I take her out at noon every day to the backyard so she can walk, eat little leaves and get some Vitamin D with the sun... that said.... I know nothing about tortoises. So I joined the forum to see what I should feed her, how to bathe her, etc.
I couldn't find a way to post a thread from my cell phone, so no pictures this time. :(

Thanks for your help!

Hi, and welcome!

Be careful taking a tortoise outside to an area of no fences, especially a little Russian tortoise. They are great escape artists, and all it takes is for you to turn your attention away for a second or two, and zip, she's gone!
