Thank you it works]

Glad this cleaning method works out for your pond, you can see how clear the pond is after the cleaning... BTW... you have a beautiful pond... love your fishes and Chinese box turtle.

I got my filter pad from a local fish store, a 12"x72" pad only costs $7 for me. It's more than enough for the cleaning project.

I've been a member of the CTTC...California Turtle & Tortoise Club... https://tortoise.org/

I've been going the the Long Beach chapter meeting on every third Friday. The club will invite experts from different fields to present turtles-related topics every month. You are definitely welcome to join our meeting.

There is another chapter located in Santa Ana/Orange. For the Long Beach chapter, yes, the meeting is always in the same location. There is a meeting on this Friday, and presentation is going to be about Pancake tortoises from Dr. Michael Tuma. He recently conducted studies in Africa on this species and will be sharing his experiences. The annual member is $25/individual.
