Wow, that seems quite large!Because there are so many variables, the sizes of tortoise can greatly vary. My Cherryhead just turned 3 and is just over 10 inches.
WOW Beautiful! I don’t think mine will catch up to that ( she’s just 3 inches and 150 grams at 1 year).Just updating this post.
Three months later, "she" is now 6 3/8 inches and 748 grams. View attachment 279236View attachment 279237
I feed daily, sometimes every other day, depending on what we have going on. She lives outdoors and can graze as she pleases. She has spineless cactus and forest tortoise seed mix from Sulcata Food planted in her enclosure. She gets a variety of Hibiscus, grape vine, spineless cactus, spring mix, green leaf lettuce, red leaf lettuce, dandelion, chard, kale, turnip, squash, zucchini, papaya, mango, strawberry. I also feed her Repashy Grassland Grazer and canned dog food about once every other week.Good looking tortoise.
Do you feed daily, every other day, every two days?
What are you feeding him/her?

I think the fact that she lives outdoors and eats such a variety is the key to her great size!I feed daily, sometimes every other day, depending on what we have going on.
