A recent rescue of a female Ornate Box Turtle reinvigorated my love for reptiles and amphibians. Since then I’ve rescued two more females and one male and I’ve read everything I can on them to ensure proper care.

My wife jokes about support groups being available for my “turtle problem”. Hope this can be it. Lol

Currently we have them all in an outdoor enclosure that is 10’ x 12’. There are two water features and five hides. One larger pond and a smaller soaking pond. My family has really been enjoying them, and hopefully will continue to do so in the distant future.

Looking forward to learning everything I don’t already know.

Love the feeding dish! Does that count as Upcycling- either way genius. Good Luck

Wife has a ton of those little lids, so when I feed them I can collect old ones and leave cleaned ones.

Thanks for all the warm welcomes. Been a good morning so far. Helped three RES off the road and one beautiful female ornate box turtle. Zero dead so far. Let’s hope today stays that way.
